Common questions

Is ShareWell therapy?

No. ShareWell provides peer support, not clinical therapy. Groups are led by Peer Hosts. 1-on-1s are led by Peer Specialists. Workshops are led by Coaches.

Who leads Groups?

Groups are guided by Peer Hosts — community members who volunteer to facilitate conversation, uphold guidelines, and create a respectful space.

Who are Peer Specialists?

Peer Specialists are vetted by ShareWell and bring lived experience along with formal training, typically through certified peer support specialist programs.

What happens in my first Group?

You join a small live video Group. A Peer Host guides the conversation. You share as much or as little as you want.

What happens in a 1-on-1 Intro?

A 15-minute conversation to see if it feels like a fit. No commitment.

Can I become a Peer Host?

Yes. Anyone can be a Peer Host. ShareWell provides free training, ongoing support, and a platform to lead Groups.

Are Groups confidential?

Confidentiality is very important to us. Everything shared in a Group is expected to stay there, and all Peer Hosts and Specialists follow our community and safety policies.

What if I'm in crisis?

ShareWell is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or contact local emergency services.

How much does ShareWell cost?

Groups are free to join — no credit card required. 1-on-1 sessions with Peer Specialists start at $40. Paid plans unlock unlimited group access and discounted sessions.
